Hoddesdon Bowls Club (Rosehill) is in an easy to reach area, at its current location since 1936. Many of our members come here from Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, and Nazeing. We also have members who come from further afield from Cheshunt, Enfield, Hertford, Ware, Stanstead Abbotts and Bishops Stortford who find it worth travelling that extra distance to join in our friendly atmosphere.
As a private members club with excellent facilities, Hoddesdon Bowls Club (Rosehill) enables members of all abilities to enjoy a wide range of recreational and/or competitive lawn bowls activities throughout the summer season, during April to September. In addition, our members enjoy a wide variety of other recreational and social activities throughout the whole year.
Rosehill had a very good win in the latest round of the Scotts Blain competition on Friday 29th July, scoing 4 points to 2, winning the Singles, Triples and Fours matches, only losing in the Pairs. Rosehill ladies had an excellent evening on Monday 27th June. In the Markwell Trophy Rosehill won on both rinks away at Chechunt, 12-8 and 35-3, winning 4 points.
