Ladies Gala
Our annual Ladies' Gala was held at the end of August and raised almost £1000 for Club funds.
Ably organised by Janet and her hardworking group of helpers, 80 ladies from different clubs in the area played bowls, sat down to an excellent lunch, ate plenty of cakes and bought over 2,500 raffle tickets!
The spider at the beginning of the morning raised £75 for local charity and a team from Buntingford were the worthy winners of the Gala.
Our thanks go to each and everyone who helped, either in the clubhouse or outside preparing the green and grounds, to make this event such a success which is now a regular feature in the bowling calendar.
