Ladies Gala
Hoddesdon Bowls Club (Rosehill) proudly hosted its 2025 Ladies Gala Day, welcoming 20 teams from across Hertfordshire to take part in this popular annual event. The day was filled with friendly competition, great bowling, and plenty of laughter, as teams enjoyed the warm hospitality and wonderful atmosphere that the Rosehill greens are known for.
Beyond the bowls, the event had a special purpose — raising funds for a cause close to many hearts. Thanks to the generosity of players, visitors, and club members, the gala and raffle raised an incredible £1,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (Herts branch).
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped organise the day, donated prizes, and contributed in any way to make the event such a success. It was a fantastic showcase of community spirit, sportsmanship, and support — and we’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back next year!
